Nicky

Miss Nicky

This Co-Director of the regionally celebrated Atlanta Chiefs Cheerleaders was a dancer with the world renowned NFL Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Nicky has also performed as a member of the NBA Dallas Mavericks Dancers, as well as the Captain of the Dallas Texans (Desperados) Arena Football Cheerleaders. This Dancer, Actor and Singer is a native of Manhattan, New York that began her dance training with DTH and ultimately received multiple scholarships with Alvin Ailey, Gus Giordano, Tremaine, LA Dance Force and a few other revered companies. She has performed in several Super Bowls and Playoff Championship games. Nicky is a technically trained dancer of 14 years in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Technical Hip-Hop and Tap. In addition, she has also choreographed for NBA, NFL, NCA and UDA dance teams and also for numerous Collegiate and High School competition Cheer/Dance teams. As an actor (film, television and commercials), a few of her accolades include: The WB station's "One Tree Hill", recurring role on the Lifetime Channel's "Army Wives", "Reed Between the Lines" starring Malcolm Jamal Warner from "The Cosby's" and Traci Ellis Ross from "Girlfriends" the USA Channel's "Necessary Roughness". Nicky guest starred along side Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson and Sophie Okonedo in the critically acclaimed book written by Sue Monk Kidd now turned movie "The Secret Life of Bees", "Fighting Temptations" starring Beyonce, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Mike Epps, "The Greening of Whitney Brown" starring Sammi Hanratty, Aidan Quinn and Brooke Shields, "Marry Me" starring Lucy Liu ,"Playing for Keeps" starring Gerard Butler from the movie "300", and she has recently completed shooting "Firelight" playing Melanie Johnson the wife of Oscar Winner Cuba Gooding Jr. A couple of her National Broadway theatre journeys include: "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" as Mrs. Potiphar/Assistant Choreographer and Dance Captain, "Kiss Me Kate" and West Side Story as "Anita".

Barbie Parker

as 2nd Lieutenant and Colonel on her high school drill team. Mrs. Parker captured the titles of Miss Drill Team Texas, Miss Half Time Texas, Miss Drill Team USA 2nd runner up and Miss Half Time USA 1st runner up during her senior year, as well as receiving a full four year scholarship to the University of Hawaii. Dancing for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior football games was only one of many highlights of her ten year stay in the Islands. While in Hawaii she choreographed and performed at several Hula Bowls, Pro Bowls and Rainbow Classic half times. In addition, her work with Show People Hawaii enabled Mrs. Parker many opportunities to work with stars such as Joel Grey, Tom Selleck, Charlie's Angels (the original!) and dancing and choreographing industrial shows for Ford Motor, NFL, BF Goodrich, GE Electric, Apple Computer, Phillip Morris and many others. Upon returning to the mainland in 1990, she taught dance for Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Clear Lake and became an NFL cheerleader for the Houston Oilers. During her last year with the squad, she was employed with the Oilers as the choreographer and traveled with her team for performances and appearances to such places as Japan, Mexico and Canada. After the birth of her son Kai in 1997, Mrs. Parker decided she wanted to spend more time at home and accepted a position with Friendswood High School as the drill team director.
Mrs. Parker left FHS in 2001 and became the director of La Porte High school where she stayed for two years. While directing the La Porte drill team, she entered the University of Houston Clear Lake and began the Masters in Education and Principal Certification program. As of May 2005, Mrs. Parker achieved her goal, graduating once again from UHCL.While finishing her Masters she became employed with Deer Park ISD where she was the director of their dance team from 2003 – 2010.With twelve years of directing high school dance teams she is very excited to join the Langham Creek Bailadoras family.She feels honored and elated to work with such talented young dancers who set their goals high, as well as to work with a booster club who have welcomed her with open arms.With such a "TEAM" – (director, assistant directors, dancers and parents) there is no doubt in her mind the sky is the limit and this year will be the "crème de la creme".

Sales and Dawn Axam. Ursula had the privilage to audition and awarded partial scholarship from Denise Jefferson at the Alvin Ailey School. As a college student at Dillard University, Ursula worked as the team member and choreographer for Dillard Diamonds. Ursula trained under Roscoe Sales, Diane Sales, Patdro Harris, Jimmy Lucas, Nina Gilbreath, Waverly Lucas and Dawn Axam. Collaboratively worked with choreographers such as Juel D. Lane Nakia Henry and Duane Cyrus.Her creative works and collaborations graced many collegiate stages in "Soweto, Soweto, Soweto A Township is Calling",directed by: David Kote, "For Colored Girls" directed by Barry Franklin, and 106th and Park with the Dillard Diamonds. Ursula returned to Atlanta from hurricane Katrina, where she began to captivate her unique blend of West African, Hip Hop, and Contemporary movements along with her present dynamic energy. Ursula started a free youth program and mentorship in dance and theater for all ages, she called J.O.I. (Jump. On. It). With this program she created an alliance with St. Mary's Youth Program in London, UK allowing their talented youth program to interact with city of atlanta's talents and explore new friendships and creative exchange. In return she visited their site in London to choreograph a Martin Luther King, Jr dedication filled with music, theater, and dance. Ursula had the pleasure to work personally with her Tri-Cities Alum and profound choreographer, Juel D. Lane in creating a buzz that opening doors for atlanta based artist with their company 2 Kids And A Dream. Ursula is now, transitioning into her own style, creative goals, and re-creating the passion that has brought her this far to produce, "SHE, Created IT".Ursula has taught residencies various world locales .Gambia, West Africa, Guadeloupe,The Netherlands, and the UK along with recent North Carolina School of the Arts.Ursula has been blessed to be featured as actor/dancer in movies "RAY" with Jamie Fox, Disney's "Stuck in da Suburbs", Tyler Perry "Why did I get Married Too" and "Failure To Launch" with Sarah Jessica Parker.Explorer of Originality, Lover of choreography, and Passion for sharing. Ursula has traveled many roads to become the woman she is today.

years of formal instruction in all areas of dance (ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and gymnastics), Kelly's versatility and energetic style puts her in high demand as a teacher, choreographer, and sought after competition judge. She began competing in cheerleading competitions in high school and did cheer and dance choreography on a local and collegiate level where she was a varsity cheerleader at Duke University with her twin sister. Kelly's professional experience reads like a Who's Who in Dance/Cheer: Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader for 6 years, Squad Captain for 4 years, selected as NFL Pro Bowl Representative for the AFC; AFC Cheerleader of the Year); Guest Choreographer for Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders for field and half time routines, Private Dance Instructor/Choreographer for numerous top-notch competition dance & cheer squads, Featured Dancer in MC Hammer's "2 Legit to Quit" Video, and Featured Dancer in James Slaters' "All I Want From Santa is a Girl from Atlanta" Video. Kelly now is co-owner of Dance and Cheers 2 You!, the Adult Fitness director at Lisa's Dance Spot, and Owner of Tweaker Inc., a creative consulting business. Kelly believes in strong technique and discipline showered with love and fun for all dancers and cheerleaders.

Maria Regner

Maria Regner loves the world of dance. She started dancing at the age of 5 doing the Hawaiian dances and dancing at parties within the Filipino society.

She studied under Dehlia Stewart, Glen Hansucker, Uptown Street Dance Company, Rogelio Rodriquez, and the Met. The studios had always invited well-known guest as Tremaine and Gus Giordano as well as others from New York or California and from these guest Maria had grown to become an advance jazz dancer. During high school, she became one of the leading dance officer for her dance team and experienced competing as a team and as a soloist. Then in college she attended Southwest Texas State which is now known as Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Maria joined the modern dance department and tried out for the Drill Team who is known as the SWT Strutters. She performed at football games, basketball games, and the group also performed at invited events such as for the San Antonio Spurs and for the Governor at the state capitol. While in college she was invited to dance with the University of Houston-Clear Lake dance department under the direction of Jan Simonds. This was to be the last dance production by UH Clear Lake since the department was being closed down in the early 90s. Then in 1992, the Houston Oilers were having auditions and this was a huge ordeal since the Derrick Dolls were banned for a long time and had decided to return the Derrick Dolls as the Houston Oilers Dancers. Maria made it on the team as one of the 36 out of over 1,000 girls who tried out and she also made it on the USO tour group which consisted of only 12 members who danced to many promotional events including in Japan. Nearing the end of the football season in 1993-1994, Maria decided to try out for the Houston Rockets. Again, she had to compete with over 1,000 girls but only 12 make it on the team. She was entering another new generation of the Houston Rockets since the team was just sold to Les Alexander. Maria stayed on with the Rockets for 2 years and was one of the first Houston Power Dancer. Currently, Maria is very active with the Houston Oilers Derrick Dolls Alumni Organization and the NFL Cheerleader Alumni Association, and at the same time she is very involved with her husbands business , who is a Chiropractor, and her two children who are 8 and 12 years old. And they all live in the suburbs of Katy, Texas.

background began in high school and after graduating from high school, she was a National Cheerleading Association, instructor during the summer. At Georgia Tech, she cheered for 3 years on the Varsity squad. Mickey's professional cheerleading career was with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons for 7 years. (Captain & Cheerleader of the Year) Also, she started the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders Alumni group in 2002 and is the Director of the organization with over 250 members.
Mickey is the President/Owner of Alumni Cheerleaders, LLC and recently re-launched AlumniCheerleaders.com in 2009. AlumniCheerleaders.com is an online Social Network exclusively for former and current cheerleaders and dancers from the NFL, NBA, College, High School, AFL & more to reunite and communicate. In addition in her spare time, she judges high school, college, and professional teams' auditions. Traveling, shopping, but most of all her passion for planning events to reunite old friends, are her favorite pastimes.

Kimberly Hallman Fedenko

Kim is in her 33rd year of teaching various styles of dance and has had the opportunity to study in Europe, New York , Texas , California and Miami.

She was a Lieutenant and Swingster for the Kilgore College Rangerettes in Texas . She was the Assistant to the Choreographer for the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996. Kim was also an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader for 3 seasons and was a 1998 Super Bowl Cheerleader in Miami , FL. She was the director for the Junior Atlanta Falcon's Cheerleaders for 5 seasons, was the interim director for the Seattle Seahawks Junior Cheerleaders and helped organize the junior program for the Miami Dolphins. Kim's passion is teaching and she enjoys her time working with her students at Newnan School of Dance and The Dance Factory. Kim is now a proud mother of an Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader.

Aja

Aja Little

parade is when her parents noticed her passion and ability to dance. As the marching bands came parading down MLK Dr. Aja stole the show, so much that she was placed on a car so that the crowd forming around her could see her. At the age of 4 she was enrolled in McClendon School of Dance. While at MSD she was professionally trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, African, and Praise and Worship. At the age of 12, with the extensive training she was required, with the rest of her company class, to audition for a spot in the summer program at Alvin Ailey Dance Company and Dance Theater of Harlem. Aja was accepted into both programs and was given partial scholarships. Upon receiving the scholarships the Principal of Chapel Hill Middle School, Dr. Shakir, awarded Aja with the Exceptional Talent and Greatest Achievement award. While in high school Aja auditioned and secured a spot on the 2000-2001 Southwest Dekalb Dancing Divas. Under the instruction of Kiara "KiKi" Ely, the SWD Divas received several awards and accolades. The SWD Divas were also voted the best Auxiliary in Atlanta. As a junior at SWD, Aja was offered scholarships to dance in college. Aja's senior she was chosen to be Head Captain of the SWD Divas. After graduating high school, Aja immediately began teaching dance at Conservatory School of Arts and Dance. While teaching at CSAD she was offered a position with a new dance company for adults called Melodic Movements. After joining Melodic Movements Aja was not only teaching dance but also performing and showcasing her talents around the city of Atlanta. While with Melodic Movements Aja has performed on BET's Monique Show, Jezebel Magazine New Year's Party, Hypoxtica 404 Showcase, BET's Hip Hop awards and many more shows around Atlanta. While performing Aja was approached by a concern parent of North Atlanta High School in search of a coach for the Marching Warriors Silver Stars. After meeting with the Band and Performing Arts Directors, Aja was chosen to lead the 2010 Silver Stars. The Silver Stars competed and various competitions like Battle of the Dance Lines and received superior rating. Currently Aja is working on a summer camp the concentrates on technical training for middle and high school students. This camp will reconstruct the image and the quality of high school dance teams over the metro Atlanta area as well as give everyone an equal platform to be able to compete and win in competitions. The camp is called, A Little Movement!

Amanda

Amanda Painter

A native of Kansas City , Missouri , Amanda began training as a dancer at the tender age of three in the disciplines of Tap, Jazz and Ballet...

Through her hard work, Amanda's training ultimately expanded to Broadway and Rhythm Tap, Hip-Hop, Pom, Lyrical, Modern, and Classical Ballet thus eventually propelling her forward to dance competitively on a regional and national level with none other that the phenomenal Philip Vitug's Conservatory of Dance Education. After dancing competitively, Amanda was a member of the Liberty High School Sapphires Varsity Dance Team and cheered for the Missouri State University Baseball team.
Two years ago, Amanda relocated to Atlanta and has since had the magnanimous honor to stand in the forefront of the Semi-Pro Football arena as the one and only illustrious red-head representing the regionally renown Atlanta Chiefs Cheerleaders.

Michelle began dancing at Chapel Hill Middle School with the Dance Troup under the leadership of Ms. Pamela Scott where she was 7th Grade Captain and Head Captain in her 8th grade year. It was at that moment everyone around her knew she was a star. While in high school, Michelle participated on the SaintSationals Dance Team, Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and the Gymnastics Team. In 2001, she performed in the Presidential Inaugural Parade of George W. Bush. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University where she became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, a charter member of the Beta Psi Chapter of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs Inc., and a member of the Clark Atlanta University Mighty Marching Panther Band Premier Essence Dance Line. Under the direction of Mrs. Yakema T. Hicks, Michelle began to explore different genres of dance. Her passion and love for dance is indescribable. While on the Essence Dance Line, Michelle had the pleasure of serving as Co-Captain 2004-2006 and Captain in 2007. She was featured on the front page of the Sports section in the Atlanta Journal Constitution Article ,”The Best of Southern Football” and awarded the Epitome of Essence Award while on the dance line. From 2003-2007 she participated in the annual Honda Battle of the Bands. Upon graduating, she was given the opportunity to choreograph for the SaintSationals dance team at her alma mater, Cedar Grove High School. Michelle was offered the coaching position midway through the marching season and placed her mark on the program. She revitalized, renamed and revamped the program now known as the Sapphire Angels Dance Team. The Sapphire Angels received Superior ratings at the DeKalb County Music Festival for 4 consecutive years under Mrs. Lockhart’s leadership. The Sapphire Angels participated in various competitions such as the National High School High Stepping Marching Band Championship (Division Champs 2010 and 2011) and the Battle of the Dance Lines. Michelle is the proud mother of Ava and Austin Lockhart.

While at VSU she performed for two years (one as dance captain) as a member of “Essence Of Troy” dance line; apart of the award winning Trojan Explosion Marching Band. Candis has over 16 yrs of training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Modern from celebrated instructor/choreographer Nina Wheeler. As well as over 10 yrs of competition dance experience and is an award winning choreographer. Her love for Dance has enabled her to work under the instruction of legendary, African Dance Choreographer, Chuck Davis. She has also been allowed the opportunity to perform in London, England, appear in shows on BET, perform for concerts featuring several chart topping artist and choreograph for an episode of Drop Dead Diva. Her teaching career started in Virginia and has now moved to Atlanta, Ga. While in Atlanta, Candis has performed with the African American Dance Review and has become the co- owner of MOVE! Dance Workshops and Seminars; a traveling dancer workshop circuit giving extremely talented choreographers the ability to share there gift of dance with others in the dance community. Candis is also the co- owner of Distinguished Emeralds, LLC (DE Agency and Management); which she, along with your business partner Deandra Clarke, have provided talent for MTV, National Dance Competitions, and more.

She also worked at Tokyo Disneyland in Japan. Autumn performed with the Radio City Rockettes for 7 years and was extremely honored to be apart of such a prestigious, internationally known group. She was one of Radio City's main Rockettes chosen to give interviews for radio, newspapers and television. Autumn has also danced for Holland America Cruise Lines, Perichoresis Dance Company in NYC, the Olympic Game Opening Ceremony and performed at several Universities in Africa. Among her other experiences include work in film and television with musical groups such as Outkast and appearances on The Today Show, CNN, Waterboy, Rosewood, The Division, First Women Magazine, America's Health Network and as a contestant on Nickelodeon's game show Guts. Along with her dance career, she was a high school dance team coach and graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Telecommunications and a Minor in Theatre. She then continued her education in NYC at The Kane School for Pilates and The School for Film and Television. in the dance arena. Rob made Atlanta home 7 years ago with his extremely talented and supportive wife, Tasha. The two recently also welcomed their first baby boy, Jackson. Mr. Myers is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida, from which he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public and Cultural Communication. His written works have been published online for the Examiner, Yahoo.com and Move Newz Online, to name a few. He received dance training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and African while attending Miami Carol City Sr. High and took courses in Choreography and Dance Improvisation techniques while in college. Rob has been coaching dance competitively for over 12 years. Rob Myers has offered his talents and time as choreographer for the semi-pro, Georgia Falcons "Red Hots" Dance Team, choreographer and mentor to the Fashionizta Divas of Columbus,GA, associate choreographer for the African American Dance Review, the Dancin' Divas of Lovejoy Middle School in Hampton, GA and advisor and coach for the Legacy Dance Team at the illustrious Spelman College. In the summer months, Rob provides his expertise as Dance Instructor and Stage Manager for the Ferst Center Arts Musical Theatre Camp at Georgia Tech. Through his teaching and coaching efforts, Rob’s choreographic works have garnered top honors and special recognition throughout the competitive dance arena. When he is not teaching locally, Rob is a guest choreographer at Studio 3 Dance & Fitness, in Colchester,VT, as well as Dance Etc. and Centerpointe Dance studios, both located up in the Blue Ridge mountains of georgia. Rob served as Men’s Dance Captain for the Pregame and Halftime shows for Super Bowl XXXIII (33), and had the opportunity to perform with such artists as Stevie Wonder, Cher, and KISS. Rob believes "Dance is not an option, it's a lifestyle. Live it, love it, breathe it, work it, DANCE!"

She has been a member of many local dance companies, has performed throughout the metro-Atlanta area and Georgia, and currently teaches a hip hop cardio class at Ikonic Dance Atlanta. Memorie has enjoyed dancing professionally with the Georgia Force Cheerleaders and the Atlanta Dream Shooting Stars Cheerleaders. She is also a Physician Assistant and Certified Health Coach and loves helping and encouraging others to adopt a healthier, active lifestyle.

Alexa

Dancing since the age of three, I have developed such a passion for performing. Since I was able to walk, I was always dancing or putting....

on some kind of show. I was born and raised in Macon, GA where I was formally trained at Dance Dynamics Studio. Throughout college I participated in the Dance Minor Spring Concert while taking supplemental dance classes, as well as serving as the co-captain for my sorority's step team. I have a passion for every genre of dance and have been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, broadway, step, pointe, and modern. I received a scholarship grant from the Kiwanis Club towards my college education after I competed and won with a Broadway-style tap piece (two years in a row). I was nominated to serve as Phi Mu's Greek Goddess at Georgia College and State University last spring. I have traveled and competed at numerous dance competitions and conventions and am currently an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader. When performing, I believe it is all about showmanship and stage presence. I have performed in multiple theatre productions including Anything Goes, The Nutcracker, Jekyll and Hyde, and The Wedding Story. I am graduating from Georgia College and State University this December with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish, and plan to attend Physician Assistant School in the next two years. .

and an unparalleled natural ability, Jacques Anthony Bell is one of Atlanta’s best kept secrets in entertainment. Known as the “Jacques” of all trades, he has grown to encompass a multifaceted range of talents from dance and choreography to music, theater, and film. Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Mr. Bell relocated to Long Island, New York where at a tender age he began to exhibit a noticeable love for the arts. Years later he again relocated to his current home of Atlanta, Georgia where as a high school student, he received countless accolades as an instrumentalist, performing in some of Georgia’s most accomplished student and professional ensembles. This foundation in music was further augmented at the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the Hugh Hodgson School of Music and became a highly sought-after Musician, Music Educator, and Clinician. It was while at the University of Georgia that Jacques began to explore and develop his skills as a Dancer/Choreographer. He was initiated as a member of the Zeta Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated and performed, choreographed, and instructed with the Xtreme male dancers, Georgia Dymes Dance Team, Pamoja Dance Company, Kappa Alpha Psi Step Team, Dance FX dance studios, and founded the GDX Dance Company, which accepts 20-25 gifted dancers annually. While quickly gaining recognition for his work with industry personalities such as Def Jam recording artist Ne-Yo, Mr. Bell began to receive numerous high profile opportunities in Music Videos, Television, and Stage Productions, with his work being showcased on major television networks including MTV, BET, and VH1. He has similarly been afforded the opportunity to work with noted aggregations such as the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, the Atlanta Hawks “A Town” Dancers, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Jacques has also selected head choreographer for three consecutive years of Metro Atlanta’s Precision Inc. Band Camp, one of the nation’s premier clinics for musicians and dancers. His expertise in this genre later landed him the coveted position as Choreographer of VH1’s “Drumline: A New Beat”. Mr. Bell continues to instruct and perform in various capacities with elementary, high school, college, and professional musicians and dancers, and has been named Head Choreographer and Asst. He attributes his success as a dancer/choreographer to his strong foundation in the fundamentals of music and is driven by the belief that there is always more to learn. Jacques is highly motivated in perfecting his craft and is currently the Principal Saxophonist of the Atlanta Wind Symphony, head of the Gwinnett School of Dance Hip-Hop department and Studio director at Ikonic Atlanta Dance Studio.

Brennan Byrd

Brennan Byrd began her training at the age of 3 at Tri-County Clogging in Rossville, Georgia. She was clogging queen 3 years running and competed...

at Disney World with her Show Choir. She later moved to Cumming, Georgia where she trained under Niki Jernigan Watkins of Cumming Dance Academy. Brennan is a graduate of Valdosta State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with Magna Cum Laude Honors. While at VSU she was a part of the 4 time national championship Red Hots Dance Team where she competed at NDA Nationals and placed 1st in both the hiphop and open division. She held the positions of Finance Vice President, Scholarship, and Finance Assistant in her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi along with choreographing and participating in the step show. She performed closely with the VSU Repertory Dancers in the shows Damn Yankees and Sleeping Beauty and also performed an original solo choreographed by Eric Nielson at GAHPERD Dance Convention. Brennan is currently working for her home studio, Cumming Dance Academy as the Company Director and Assistant Studio Manager. She choreographs many group and solo numbers for local competitions and winning many overall awards for her choreography. She also travels and teaches master classes throughout the state of Georgia.
